Jane produced a series of recorded colour palette card paintings while observing the landscape during the Research Art Lab residency. They include the original 1917 Orford Ness colour ‘recipes’ found in archival research carried out by Roland Edwards, National Trust volunteer and IRGON (International Research Group Orford Ness) at the National Archives. My colour mixing cards informed the larger drawings and paintings on paper and canvas: Observation Orford Ness and Wingspan. They were exhibited as part of LAND, curated by Clare Palmier at The Art Station in 2025.
